My Trip to Coorg Karnataka

The Scotland of India, Coorg is named rightly because of the scenic beauty and greenery of this place which is bewitching. This place does not have many historical places or high peaks surrounding it. But the pure unpolluted air here and the untrimmed random growth of trees and shrubs keeps you absorbed. You just want to sit and see the different birds singing and hopping from one tree to another. I could not stop myself from whistling with the whistling bird known as malabar hill thrush. Then we went to Raja Seat from where we had the full view of this small suburb. All green not much populated. Simple life of people attracts you. But the place was full with tourists. We stayed at Mahindra Resort. Hats off to the management for maintaining such vast area
Where you can see different type of life thriving. Early in the morning you are woken by the beautiful chirping of the birds. You cannot remain without going out in the balcony and search for the birds.
Then we went to Abbey Falls, mesmerising beauty of Coorg. You cant but held captive by the cascading water. Evening we spent enjoying different activities and dancing organised by the resort management. This was a powerful package involving sight seeing, bird watching and of course trailing the green trails.
Trailing, dancing, abbey falls, chirping birds, whistling sounds, tourists, Scotland of India.
