Our Kids Our Responsibility

Teach your kids to be responsible and honest. Donot entertain even the smallest lie. Don't think that they are too small to understand anything. They are very smart. They observe and understand everything and use their brain very appropriately. Even the parents should abstain from telling lies because that way they are teaching their kids to be the same. All children lookup to their parents and they are their role models. So be very careful about what you say and what you do.
When they are over one year of age they start understanding many things like putting things in proper place. Taking care of their belongings. As they keep on growing doing small jobs should be natural to them.
We should guide them towards human relation values. Love and respect towards their elders. Leading a humble life devoid of any ego. Being selfless but full of self esteem. Being humble but strong from inside to face the different phases of life. Not giving up easily. Stretching up to face life in totality.
We should guide them to have the value of time and money along with self control and patience. To master  anger and channelling this energy towards constructive work. Towards making your mind strong powerful and body healthy. To have envy not jealousy.
Develop in them the habbit of eating healthy food. Eating junk makes the mind and body junkyard. When you eat good healthy but simple food your body responds very well and mind is used in thinking good thoughts.
Earn well but don't over spend. Invest your money prodigiously. Teach your kids the value of hard work in every field of life as hard work is required to maintain everything in life. It includes studies, love and respect for every one. Maintaining good relations and to be responsible and honest. Our kids are our responsibility.

About Books and life

Books
Books are really our life line. They are our best friends in the true sense. I love reading good books. Spiritual books and novels. Whenever I get a good book to read i am totally engrossed in it. I relate myself to the characters of the book. I feel for them
I cry with them and also laugh and enjoy  their company. Sometime the processing is so engrossing that it keeps me occupied for days together. Many books are based on true life stories. But I feel that every novel has a little bit of writer in it because you can't write a good book unless you put your heart and soul into it. Unless you become the main protagonist of the story you are developing into a book. So when a story touches me I go through the life story of the writer also and surprisingly many time I find something of the writer into it. These books have always helped me whenever I am sad , depressed and lonely in life. They help me to fight the low time and boost up my spirit. I feel I am in the company of a very good friend when I am busy reading.

My Love of Life

My Love of Life.
Everybody in their lifetime falls in love. Oh please dont narrow your eyes and look at me questeningly. Yes i love . I love travelling to different places. I love visiting a place and  explore it completely. I just want to pack my  bag and run off. When I reach a destination I just don't sit there and pass my time reading or enjoying the stay but I just start quenching my thirst of seeing each and every place worth seeing there. I go through every place' history and enjoy every momemt that I spend there.
Recently along with my sisters I visited Udaipur. Although we stayed there for three day but that was not sufficient. Many  sights near udaipur are worth visiting and seeing. We visited Kumbhalgarh, Huldighati, Chetak point, Ranakpur temple, and also Dilwara temples of Mount Abu. I am mesmerised by construction of temples in  India. I like to visit temples out of love for the sheer beauty of indian architecture.  I liked udaipur for its palaces and temples ,T he Monsoon palace and City palace. Besides, the climate was awesome. We enjoyed each and every momemt spent there. I liked lakes also. Fatahsagar lake and Pichola Lake in Udaipur and Niki lake in Mount Abu.

My surprise road trip.

My surprise road trip.
This year one night before my birthday my son came to me and told me to pack my bag with clothes and other things needed for two days . I asked him where are we going but he kept it a secret. So the next day we left early in the morning. It was very pleasant clean and fresh and our moods were as fresh as flowers. We were just talking and laughing and my son was driving. Although the city roads were also lonely in the morning but as soon as we entered the hilly area towards malshez ghats the weather surprisingly started changing. A fresh clean breeze started and an amazing view of the pristine hills mesmerised us.  There was amazing scenery all around. No person who has not visited and seen the out skirts of mumbai can imagine the hidden beauty here. Lush green mountains overhead on the road and deep down the green valley hypnotize you with its unparallelled beauty. There were no waterfalls though in the late september but all around it was very beautiful.
After crossing Malshez ghats we went to Shivnery fort. You can not see Shivneri fort properly untill you go very near to it. It is so much hidden in mountains and can not be located so easity if not for the signs and arrows on the road. This fort is the birthplace of our great chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. As you go near you are awed by the hugeness and beauty of the fort. We climbed it, went to Shivai goddess temple also. Whole atmosphere is very serene and beautiful. You need a full day to spend at this place which makes you feel as if you are not only climbing and watching the beauty but also meditating. Such is the grace of this place.
From here we went to Lenyadri caves. They are around thirty Budhhist caves bestowing the travellers with serenity and beauty simultaneously. You feel as if you belong here. You dont want to leave this place.
From here we went to Vighneswer Ashtvinayak Ganesh temple. This is though not a very big temple but holds great importance. First it is considered as one of Ganeshji's eight avtatars. And is known as ashtavinayak. It is by the side of huge lake and a very big bridge. We stayed here for the night in a beautiful small hotel 'Arya Regency'. We had a good view of temple and lake from there. Next day we started for Bheema Shanker temple. We passed through Bheemasharker wlid life centuary which is on the top of mountain. From here the scenic beauty all around is beyond words. You feel on cloud nine with evrything else below you. I was so spell bound that I wished I had a small cottage here at this place  to spend rest of my life. Oh such lush green hills covered with yellow coloured flowers at times made me remember Wordswoth's poem "Daffodils". Reaching Bheemashanker was very tiring as the road also had deep ditches at places but the scenic beauty made us forget everything. For temple we had to go down more than 100 or 150 steps. But it was worth it. The temple is very old but still stong and attracts loads of devotees. Its one of 12 jyotirlingas. Inside also very beautiful. We enjoyed the trip to the full. I am still feeling as if i am in those hills, in the temple, climbing the fort with excitement and also watching the Lenyadri caves. Oh its unforgettable really.

My Siblings

God's ways are strange when it comes to living a life.He can bestow you with happiness in many ways. Only a simple pure heart and inner eyes are needed to feel his benevolence. I am talking about the happiness that I got as a gift right when I was born. My Siblings. We all are bonded so nicely together that sometime I feel amazed thinking that this is not only a one birth bonding but descended timelessly.
We were seven brothers and sisters in all but time and cruel fate snatched two of my brothers out of three. We are together even on the smallest occasions. Whether it is good or bad we are together and are at back and call of each other. In no way we let any of us suffer alone.
My brother is generally very busy with a demanding job and family. My youngest sister also does not have much time to spare as her kids are still in the settling phase. Her husband also needs her care and company. Though they both are always there for us but still busy. So there left we three sisters who seems to be made for each. Always aspiring for each other's company. We never let each other feel left alone or depressed. Ready to give ample time whole heartedly. I really want to thank God for giving me such loving family and specially my sisters who are my soulmates also. We love each other although sometime we fight. We jibe at each other although we can not live without each other. This bond of love is so soulfilling, so compensating that everything else becomes second. I mean all worries and all dark shadows of past. The moments spent together are all memorable and beautiful.
